To perform RRP work, yes — your firm must have at least one Certified Renovator, who completes a separate one-day (8-hour) accredited course. Firm certification (what we handle) and the individual renovator credential are two different things. The four state-run programs we serve require you to name a certified renovator at filing.
Your firm legal name, EIN (employer identification number), business address, and an authorized contact. For state-run programs we also collect your certified renovator’s details and certificate. We never ask for a Social Security number.
EPA firm certification is valid for five years; state programs vary (Delaware and Washington up to five years, Wisconsin four years, North Carolina renews annually). We send a renewal reminder before expiry so your certification never lapses unnoticed.
If we haven’t yet submitted your application, our $129 service fee is fully refundable. The government filing fee is non-refundable once submitted, as it’s paid directly to the issuing authority. If we’re unable to file for you, you receive a full refund.
